When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google. We also collect game data such as characters you create and story events.
We use your information to provide and improve DoNotDieOnline, authenticate your account, generate AI-driven story content for your characters, and communicate important updates about the game.
Your character data (name, backstory, personality) is sent to AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) to generate story narratives and illustrations. This data is used solely for content generation and is not stored by these providers beyond the API request.
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL). Game illustrations are stored in cloud storage. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your characters and game data will be permanently removed.
